Getting started & your account

Install, sign in, and get back into LIFT.

How do I install or update the TestFlight beta?

Open your LIFT invitation on your iPhone and follow the steps in Apple's TestFlight app. To check for an update, open TestFlight and select Lift Run Repeat. Beta access requires an invitation or an available public testing link.

Use the same LIFT account on iPhone and the web to access your synced workouts. A TestFlight invitation does not create a LIFT account. LIFT is for adults 18 and older.

I cannot sign in or need to reset my password.

Check that you are using the email address for your LIFT account. If you just signed up, check your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email.

Choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen, or request a password reset. If a link has expired or was already used, request a new one and open the latest email.

If you still cannot get in, email support. Never send your password or a sign-in or reset link.

Workouts & recovery

Continue a session and resolve a pending save.

My workout was interrupted. How do I continue?

Open LIFT on the same device and account, then return to Home. Open the active workout or look for Your workouts and choose Open workout or View workout.

If LIFT says a workout needs attention, open it and follow the recovery instructions. Keep the app installed while a workout or save is unresolved. Contact support before deleting app data or reinstalling.

Can I log a workout without a connection?

On iPhone, you can keep editing an active workout offline. Before training without a connection, download the saved workout or upcoming plan workout you want to use. Manual quick workouts are also available offline.

Reconnect and open LIFT to sync. Other features, including Community and schedule changes, need a connection. An offline finish may still need to sync before it appears as confirmed in History.

My finished workout or latest set is missing.

Check that you are in the account and on the device where you logged it. Reconnect, open LIFT, and check Home for a workout that needs attention. Then check History.

Do not discard an unresolved workout or repeat it just to make it appear. If it remains missing, tell support the workout name, approximate date and time, and the message you see.

Plans, logging & progress

Find your schedule and understand your records.

Where do I find my plan and change its schedule?

Open Workouts, then Plans to browse Strength, Cardio, and Combined plans. Review a plan and its schedule before starting. Home's calendar shows your scheduled sessions in Week or Month view.

You can follow one Strength plan and one Cardio plan together, or one Combined plan. Review and confirm schedule changes in the plan's scheduling controls. Finishing or skipping a workout does not automatically move your calendar dates.

How do I log strength, cardio, and measurement units?

For strength, record your sets, repetitions, and weight in the workout logger. Use the rest timer and available exercise options as you train. For cardio, follow the workout's steps and intervals, pause when needed, and enter requested results.

Change your measurement units in Profile. Changing units changes how values are displayed; it does not change the work you recorded.

Why is a progress chart empty or plan credit different?

Progress and History use your recorded workouts. Some charts need enough completed sessions to show a trend, and an estimated strength value is an estimate.

Plan progress is tied to the plan workout you started. An unlinked quick workout can appear in History without completing a scheduled plan session. If a result looks wrong, include the plan and workout names when contacting support.

Apple Watch & Health

Optional Watch features, setup, and completed workouts.

Do I need an Apple Watch? How do I set one up?

Apple Watch is optional. You can log workouts on iPhone without it. On a compatible paired Watch, install LIFT using the Watch app on your iPhone, then open Apple Watch & Health in LIFT's Profile settings and review the available permissions and status.

Downloaded cardio workouts can start and finish in LIFT on Watch. Set up Health access and download the workout before leaving your iPhone behind. Strength and hybrid sessions start on iPhone; strength logging stays on the phone.

Why is a workout unavailable on Watch or missing from LIFT History?

Check Apple Watch & Health in LIFT on iPhone. Downloading a workout to LIFT on Watch, scheduling it in Apple's Workout app, and importing a completed result are separate steps. Apple's Workout app supports a smaller selection of workouts.

After a Watch workout, reconnect your devices and open LIFT on iPhone. A workout saved to Apple Health does not by itself mean LIFT has confirmed its import. Check the Completed workouts status and any instructions before starting a duplicate session.

If Watch features are unavailable, you can keep training and logging on iPhone.

Profile & Community

Your avatar, shared workouts, and social controls.

How do I change my avatar or explore the forest?

Open Profile to edit your avatar. Review your changes and choose Save to keep them. Your saved avatar is used on your profile and eligible Community surfaces.

Open the forest from Profile to look around, then return to your profile. Its seasons and daylight use your device time; its weather is simulated.

Are my workouts shared automatically?

Sharing is optional. Review the share preview and audience before publishing a workout. Opening a preview does not publish it. Private notes, readiness, body measurements, and raw sensor data are not included in a workout post.

Use Community's report, block, and mute controls when needed. See the Community Guidelines for details, or contact support about an account or safety concern.

Privacy & account deletion

Understand your data and find account controls.

Where can I review privacy settings and data use?

Open Account & privacy in Profile. Our public privacy notice explains account, workout, support, Community, and optional Apple Health data.

Raw heart-rate samples, GPS points, and routes stay in Apple Health or device-local native displays. They are not sent to LIFT's servers or Community. You can manage Health access in Apple's settings.

How do I delete my account or get help without signing in?

In LIFT, open Profile, then Account & privacy and Delete my account. Follow the confirmation steps. Deletion is permanent after the request is accepted.

Read the account-deletion guide for the current availability, what is removed, and retention details. Apple Health and Fitness workouts must be managed separately in Apple's apps.

If you cannot sign in or need help with a privacy request, email support. You do not need to contact support to use the in-app deletion flow.
